Just more stuff

Well, I've been meaning to do another post for a while now, but I've been putting it off since this is what I have to work with (thanks, Noah):

So there probably won't be much actual text in this blog.

Braden got a new haircut a week or so ago. I'd been meaning to do it for a few weeks, and my grandpa kept refering to Braden as my daughter, so it was well past time.

Before and After

This is a big deal for us, since both Braden and I like it long (though not as long as it is in the picture). Seriously, who wouldn't want to keep those gorgeous loose curls? Kevin decided he wanted to do it with the clippers, and convinced Braden and I to let him. I thought I was going to cry, but I held back the tears. Braden hated it at first and said he wanted his hair back. Now he's okay either way. I like it because you can see his face better, but I still miss the long hair. He'll probably grow it out again, as much because it takes us forever to get around to cutting it. Maybe we'll do short for summer and long the rest of the year.

Kevin's sister has been in town for the summer with her family and I finally got around to taking pictures of all the kids. These are all of Kevin's parents' grandkids, or at least until October.

From left, Carter, Katelyn, Braden, Dylan, and Noah.

The kids were watching a movie and I caught Braden and Dylan like this.

This is also during the movie. I thought they looked cute smooshed together on Braden's tiny couch.

And in baby news, I only have 10 weeks to go! Yay! I'm almost done! Now if only I could figure out a name.

Having cousins around is so much fun! And I love LOVE it when kids are affectionate with each other.

Braden's haircut looks good! Patrick has no hair right now, so haircuts are a distant future for him.

As for the baby...10 weeks? Really? Did you just announce you were pregnant?? I think the name is the hardest part. After all, they're going to have for their WHOLE life! Good luck!

It feels like I just announced it, but it also feels like forever ago. It was actually in February.

My mom kept long hair on my brother until he was being called a girl LOL. He loved his long hair though! Braden looks like such a little man now. As for the ten weeks, I remember feeling like it might as well be ten months for how far away it felt to me lol. But looking back now it all seems like it went by so fast and all my kids are growing up on me! Sigh... Also, I blogged about Alice and there is a picture of the two of you together on there. Take care!

Kari, Braden's hair looks great! I know you miss his curls, but he looks so handsome with his short hair! And I agree that you can really see his face so much better now.

I remember crying when Barry first cut Alton's baby hair off. I couldn't even watch.

I can't believe you only have a couple of months left before baby #3 comes along! Time flies!

Sorry I haven't mailed Braden's shorts yet, I keep forgetting.

We saw Bman with your mom leaving the reception and we almost didn't recognize him, but way cute tho! Cousins are fun to have around...
Good luck with the name, any candidates? I always liked 'D' names like Damon, Devon, Damien. Hopefully WE will have a boy soon!
