My group of friends and I for the past several years have dressed up like pirates and had a pirate-themed dinner on ITLAPD (International Talk Like A Pirate Day). It's been loads of fun. Sadly, we didn't this year, because too many other things were happening that day. *sigh*

Glad someone knew about it though! I forgot to post about it!
